On Friday 18th May, pupils at Durrington All Saints C of E Infant School celebrated the wedding of Prince Harry to Meghan Markle with a mock wedding and a tea party. The children dressed up for the day, made and decorated their own cakes, sewed bunting, learnt about the royal family and what it means to be British, sang the National Anthem and designed their own castles. During the afternoon a mock wedding was held in the school hall, led by Reverend Philip Bromiley and then the children went outside for their tea party to eat the cakes they had made.
