Hedgehogs visit Hedgehogs Class

Hedgehogs 2.jpg

On the 7th September 2018, Hedgehog class children had the delightful experience of two visiting Hedgehogs named Harriet and Max.

As a class we wanted to find out facts about Hedgehogs because this is our class name.

Luckily, Mrs Scott ,a parent at our school, has pet African pygmy hedgehogs and was more than willing to give the children this amazing experience.

The children discovered they run very fast and like to eat mealworms! They also learnt other interesting facts e.g. the spikes on a hedgehog are called quills and when you stroke a hedgehog it doesn't feel too spiky!
