Named Pupil Teaching Assistant

Hours of work:                       17.5 hours per week

Start date:                              As soon as possible

Salary:                                     £8.70 - £9.21 per hour

Location:                                Durrington Infant School

Contract term:                      Temporary until 21st July 2018

We are seeking to appoint a teaching assistant to support a child with medical needs.  Experience of working with children with specific additional needs would be an advantage. You will be part of our fantastic team with continuous professional development on offer. You will need to be able to use your own initiative to enable the child in your care to be safe, enjoy learning and continue to achieve both socially and academically.

Ideally, the successful applicant will have a positive, calm and enthusiastic outlook, confidence using a wide range of positive behaviour management techniques, the ability to communicate well, an appreciation and commitment to the implementation of equal opportunities/inclusion and a dedication to ongoing professional development.
