Welcome to Kingfishers Class

We are a mixed Year 1 and Year 2 class. 

You will be informed about what your child is learning via Classdojo. All home learning tasks will also be sent home via Classdojo at the start of each term.

We ask that you read and practise spellings with your child every night. Our spelling quiz is on a Monday morning.

Every term, we spend 2 days learning in our forest. You will be informed of these dates so you can ensure your child comes to school with the appropriate clothes to learn outside whatever the weather. 

In the summer term, year 2 have swimming lessons at our local pool. More information about this is sent in term 5.

We also have a range of stay and play sessions for parents and carers that we run throughout the year. We' d love to see you there!
