Phonics stay and play

Lots of parents and carers of Owls class joined us for a morning of phonics. They were taken on a whistle stop tour of Little Wandle - our chosen scheme and were invited to watch a live lesson. Miss Churchill taught a phonics lesson whilst Mrs Fenner demonstrated a guided reading session and then adults were invited to join in with some phonics activities or reading in our continuous provision area. The children loved showing off their learning and the adults got to see what fantastic learning happens in our classroom each day!
