Science week

During science week the children investigated a number of hypotheses by working scientifically and the week culminated in a giant paper aeroplane competition on Friday after school. There was a HUGE queue all the way down the path as families waited patiently to throw their creations. There were prizes - kindly organised by FODI - for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd longest flights, best design and longest flight thrown by a sibling. The children (and some very enthusiastic grown ups!) launched their planes down the runway towards victory. We are so grateful to all involved with organising the event and those who had fun taking part, as a grand total of £87 was raised - which will go towards replenishing our class libraries with a range of diverse texts.
